CICA MISSION

The Community Institute for Career Advancement (CICA) identifies, develops and provides high quality research-based interdisciplinary, academic, professional development and enrichment programs.  CICA provides appropriate support services to diverse communities of learners in a fiscally responsible manner. Working with the human resources and professional development needs of public and private institutions (CICA) provides a gateway for learners to link with the corporate and public service sectors statewide and nationally.  CICA is dedicated to engaging listeners in lifelong academic partnerships.

OUR VISION

The Community Institute for Career Advancement will be recognized nationally for providing excellent educational programs to lifelong learners of all ages.  CICA will work with organizations to facilitate the development and piloting of appropriate programs and courses.

CICA provides career advancement opportunities for individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent who wish to obtain employment in labor demand occupations; learn new and advanced skills in their current employment; or want to take advantage of the comprehensive vocational training and educational services offered by CICA.  CICA will assist in your job search and your placement into competitive employment.  Our instructors and support staff have years of expertise to not only teach you a skill or to get you a job; but also, to lead you to a more fulfilling life and career.
