ORANGE, NJ – Students at The Lakeside School helped remember those that were lost in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on by raising funds for the Twin Towers Orphan Fund. The fund provides higher educational assistance and mental and physical healthcare assistance for children who lost one or both parents in the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, or onboard the four downed airliners that took the lives of over 2,800 people five years ago.

Above, students Robert Cappello of Newark and Salamisha Tyre of Jersey City sell one of the red, white and blue ribbons that students crafted at the school to Angela Hendy, a vocational counselor at The First Occupational Center of New Jersey.
